Fall Recital

Truman, Prentice, and Cardon were able to perform in their Fall Recital.  It was Cardon's first performance and he did great.  He knew his song by memory but when he went to play he brought his book up anyway.  He said afterwards that he didn't know he shouldn't bring it even if he knew it.  I wish the videos of the kids playing weren't too long to upload.  Truman played "In the Hall of the Mountain King" with his teacher, Ms. Rachel.  The problem is he didn't spit out his gum and chomped it throughout.  I'm hoping when I tell him to spit out his gum next time, he'll listen!  Prentice also played a duet with Ms. Rachel.  And Cardon played a song called "Snake Charmer."  By next year I'll have 4 kids playing in the recital.

Don't let this cute face fool you.  He had to leave shortly after the performance started.

Cutest performers.

Boys Trip

Truman and Jer were able to go on a little trip with just the two of them.  They went up north.  The weather was pretty mild which was a plus.  They did some shopping. Hung out with my brother Anton, and other friends.  They mostly went up to go to the Utah game.  It was a great game and Utah won handily.  They also went to a tailgate party at Jason and Melissa's Shepherds new house.  We missed them but I'm glad they were able to go.  There aren't many years left with Truman so any one on one time is a plus.  I'm glad they got the chance to go.

Donuts and a Date

I've said it before but this kid is such a helper.  He wanted to help with Donuts and a Date.  I told him he could, not knowing it would be crazy and we really would need him. He helped the entire time without stopping. He was happy with  donut and milk as a reward.

More Soccer

Prentice has kept bust between her two teams even though the official season has ended!

Scrimmage against nationally ranked Vegas team.

Competing against teammates in the Mayor's Cup in Mesquite.

Anders Anton Leonard

Anders was blessed on November 4, 2019.  Jer did a wonderful job blessing him to be an example and follow those who's name he bears.  He was perfect during the blessing and slept through it.  It was a special day and a lot less stressful than my other blessings.  We had a lunch at our house after.

Competitive Soccer 2019

I don't have a picture of Prentice's two teams.  She played for Heat and United this year.  Heat in the gold bracket and United in the silver.  Cardon played his first year of competitive soccer.  Jer was his assistant coach.  They were a fun team and seemed to get better each game.  Cardon played midfielder.  Truman played for United as well and also had a good season.  They did really well when their whole team was there.  He played defensive mid and was able to score a few goals this season as well.
