Hallween activities

Ready for school Halloween parties and the parade.  Cutest little miners!

I got to help at Cardon's Halloween party.  Chambers came and joined us and Cardon took good care of him.

We stayed and had lunch with Cardon.

We visited "The Garden" to see the Halloween decorations.

Shakes after and a look at Truman's after swim team hair.

October Happenings

So excited to get the house ready for Fall.

I was able to take Chambers to the Dinosaur All Abilities Park by himself one day while Truman had tennis.  He had a great time and he still talks about being the only one on the train.

Cardon sure loves Nala and thought of a creative way to have her pull him on the skateboard.

I was able to take Truman to the symphony for their Halloween concert.  They played a lot of familiar songs, including quite a few from "The Greatest Showman."  It was a lot of fun.  Our favorite symphony concert so far!

Angels Landing

I was able to take Truman to hike Angels Landing in Zions with my Aunt Julie and her family.  I forgot what a tough hike it is, but a great one.  I didn't make it all the way to the top because of my fear of heights, but Truman was able to go to the top with everyone else.  I was proud of him.  He of course did the whole thing without a complaint.  And it was fun to spend the day with just him.  We were both surprised we actually weren't that sore the next day.  It's been a while since I've been to Zion's so I'm excited to make an effort to go back soon.

All the way at the top!

Pumpkin Picking

We were able to go to Frei's Market to pick out pumpkins this year.  We were even able to take Nala.

Every year I tell the kids they can only pick pumpkins they can carry. And every year they end up with pumpkins that are way to big!

Staheli Farm Field Trip

I was able to go with Chambers and his class on their field trip to Staheli Farm.  I have been with most my other kids but there is something special about knowing it was my last Staheli Farm field trip.  It was a fun day to spend with him.  First kindergarten field trip!

Dinosaur Museum

The second day in Moab we visited the dinosaur museum.  The kids had a lot of fun.  It was ver interactive.  We got to watch a couple videos, walk around to see all the life size dinosaurs, play at the playground, and dig for fossils in the sand.
