Truman let Prentice and I come on his kindergarten field trip to the St. George fire station. I always like going with the kids there because it reminds me that I need to make sure my kids know what to do if there is an emergency. Truman's biggest concern for the fireman was what we should do if lightning hits our tree.
It was so cute because when they picked partners before we left, Truman and Naomi picked each other. The other boys picked boys and the girls picked girls. It was like Truman and Naomi were just friends and didn't realize they were boy and girl. Truman does have good taste. Naomi is so cute. Prentice stuck with them as a third wheel the whole field trip. It was like I wasn't even there. She acted just like a kindergartner. They all held hands the whole walk to the fire station.Truman ran away and plugged his ears when they did the siren on the truck. As you can see he loved every minute of it.
Spraying the fire hose was probably the highlight of the field trip.

2 months
At 2 months you:
are more alert daily
figured out how to really coo and make noises
do the biggest grins
sleep through the night (10-6)
smile at anyone who talks to you
love the bath
are flexible
seem to be getting on a routine of 3 naps a day
hair is lightening up
Like to push with your legs and stand up
love to look at the fan
like to stare at your feet and fists
drool
We took you to the doctor for your 2 month wellness check. Prentice wasn't sure if she wanted to go because she didn't want to see you get your shots. Luckily she changed her mind and you didn't even cry too much for your three shots. Everything looked great!
Your stats:
Weight 12.13 lbs. 58%
Length 23.23 in. 58%
Head 15.7 in. 47%
As far as how you compare to our other babies you are a little bit longer so far, so we'll see if that continues. Not to mention the fact that you are already sleeping through the night. Which in our opinion, means you are a great baby.

Kindergarten Graduation
We got to go and watch Truman's kindergarten. I can't believe the school year is almost over. We only have 2 weeks left and for kindergartners, one of those weeks they don't even go to school for end of year testing. Each child was assigned a profession that they talked about and dressed up as. Jer worked hard on Truman's carpenter costume and it definitely stood out as one of the best...okay, it was the best! Truman knew all the songs and his parts. Here are his two parts:
"Hammer, hammer, saw, saw, saw
Cut and measure and glue.
I'm going to be a carpenter
And build a house for you."
"Now our Kindergarten year
Is almost done and through
We must plan and think and dream
About what we must do."
It made me sad to think he was getting so big. I guess next year he really is a big kid by going to school all day! I hope he still likes it as well as he did this year. We are proud of you Truman!

7 Weeks
At 7 weeks you:
slept through the night twice
usually wake up once, between 4-6
got in the shower for the first time
started to realize you want to be held while you sleep during the day, instead of going to sleep in your crib
follow us with your eyes
like the baby bouncer and sometimes the swing
starting to make noises to us
smiling more
spiked your hair for church
Lots of smiles!!
