Welcome!

We are so happy for the new addition to our extended family. Congratulations Anton and Liz on your beautiful baby GIRL! What a shock I was wrong again on what it would be. Looks like I'm 0 for 3 now. I was all ready for a boy. We can't wait to meet her and see how beautiful she is. Truman has been talking about his new baby cousin all day. Once again he was correct in predicting a girl. We're glad mom and baby are doing well.

Truman's Birthday Party

We celebrated Truman's birthday on Saturday because Jer and I were in San Francisco for his actual birthday. I guess what he doesn't know won't hurt him. I think this will be the last year we can get away with this though. We took him to the dinosaur museum...which wasn't exactly what we thought it would be. We convinced Truman it was fun, but it was a little old for him. It was mostly footprints, and not so much dinosaurs. We decided it was time to go when Jer had to grab him from running into the women's bathroom. Oh well, we tried!

When we got down all the gifts to wrap, we were a little surprised how many there were! This is a gift he got from Aunt Courtney and Uncle Greg. His favorite gift were simply all the balloons.

Truman digging into his Transformers birthday cake. He actually didn't want to eat much, just lick off the Transformers so he could play with them. He doesn't have much of a sweet tooth, thanks to his mother's genes.

Truman plays in the sandbox with some of his new birthday toys.

Truman shows us all his "Superman" muscles. This is the only way we could get him to stop flying around like "Superman" to get a picture.

San Francisco

Jer and I had a great time visiting my sister Courtney and her husband Greg for my birthday. Thanks for letting us stay in your cute new house and taking us to see the sights around San Francisco. And we are so glad we got to eat some "real" Mexican food numerous times while we were there. It's funny how I was glad to have a break from my kids and yet missed them the whole time. Hopefully we can do it again soon, with the kids.

We went to the Pier in San Francisco and were entertained by the bickering seals.

Of course it was my luck to get picked to help with the not-so-entertaining performance. I should take a page from Jer's book and just say "no."

Courtney drove us down to Monterrey Bay and we walked along the coast. I spared everyone from having to see the picture where Jeremy tried to kiss me for the picture.

We drove the beautiful 17-mile drive along Pebble Beach and saw some more amazing scenery.

Prentice Dancing

We laugh so hard because Prentice starts to dance whenever she hears any music. We call it her booty dance as I'm sure you can figure out why. I guess dancing just comes natural to some people.

Cute Pictures

Here are some recent pictures of Truman and Prentice. They are starting to have so much fun together. I can't help but do this, because every time I put a new outfit on Prentice I just have to take a picture of her in it. Enjoy!

Happy 3rd Birthday!

Happy birthday! We are so happy you are a part of our life. You truly bring meaning and joy to our family. Thanks for being the happiest child ever. You wake up with a smile on your face and it stays there until you go to bed each night. We love you and appreciate you more every day. We could have never imagined 3 years ago, what a blessing you would be to our family. We LOVE you, angel!

Happy 31st Birthday!

Just wanted to wish you a happy birthday Jer! You know I love you more than anything and that you make me love being married even more then I imagined. Thanks for being a wonderful father and amazing husband. I love and appreciate who you are and what you bring to our family more every day (well, most days). I hope you have a wonderful day and even though at this point getting older isn't so great, know that today the kids and I are so grateful that you are here and part of our lives. Love you babe! And sorry I didn't get up soon enough, so you had to cook your own birthday breakfast for everyone.

I wore this dress when I was Prentice's age. My mom had my pictures taken in it when I was a year. It's crazy to think that I have my own daughter wearing the same dress. I am so glad my mom saved it for me.

Tennis

The kids and I went to watch Jeremy play tennis. I was going to take Truman to do some other things to keep him entertained for part of the time, since it's no secret he can't do any one thing for more than 2 minutes. I guess we found an exception to the rule, because he actually sat and watched the game for most the time. I wanted to post some pictures of Jer in action, but he just walked in, and so...maybe later.

Truman's getting pretty good at swinging at the ball. In all reality he still needs lots of practice.

Prentice can throw balls with the best of them (10 month olds that is).

Darn Bows

I hate how Prentice will not leave her bows on. She wastes no time in pulling them off as soon as I put one on her.
